Slow Sunday Sessions are hosted live online by Carike Draper, Art Coach and Neurographica Specialist.

Life pulls us outward so often that we lose sight of what lives within. The Slow Sunday Series is an invitation to turn inward. Over three unhurried Sunday evenings this August, the gentle and powerful process of Neurographic art, will help you reconnect. No pressure to be good at it. Just you, a page, and space to remember yourself.

What you'll experience across the three sessions

  • She Awakens (16 August)"Everything she needs is already woven into her."  This workshop is an invitation to turn inward, to reconnect with the strengths, gifts, and qualities that may have quietly faded into the background. Through an intentional drawing process that works with colour, layer, and symbols, you will begin to remember what you are capable of and clarify who you are choosing to become.

  • She Nourishes (23 August)"She didn't wait for spring. She grew in the quiet of winter."

In this session, we explore the gifts you can offer yourself during the colder months — the rituals, the rest, the small and sacred acts of self-care that quietly fill you back up. Through intentional drawing, you will discover what nourishment looks and feels like for you personally, creating a visual love letter to yourself as a guide for the season.

  • She Reigns (30 August)"Her crown was never lost. Just waiting to be worn."

Strength shows up differently in every woman: in resilience, in softness, in the quiet way you keep going. This workshop creates space for all of it. Using a photo of yourself as starting point, you will explore and honour the fullness of who you are. Your contradictions, your depths, your light. A reminder that sovereignty doesn't look one way. It looks like you.
    * For this session you will need a black and white printout of a picture of you, as well as the other materials.

Why this works
This isn't an art class where you learn technique. It's a guided Neurographic drawing journey where every line becomes a question, and every shape becomes an answer you didn't know you were looking for.

You will need:

  • A quiet space where you won't be interrupted

  • A4 Paper

  • a few coloured pencils (12 pack) or markers

  • a black fineliner or pen and a slightly thicker black marker

  • An open heart and a willingness to see what shows up

  • No artistic experience required, no pressure to be "good" at this.

Can't make every Sunday live? Each session's replay is available for 7 days, so nothing is lost if life gets in the way. Not sure which session is right for you? Come for one, or come for all three, either way, there's a place for you here.

Prefer to join just one session? Book a single session for R249.

Putting yourself last is often the very habit keeping you from the life you're longing for. Give yourself this Sunday.
